Description

Here is an old 6 volt lighter from the 1920's or 1930's. The element and the face jewel are both missing. This is a project for parts or repair. There are parts missing, but the parts that are here are in really great condition. No cracks in the plastic knob. It does look like the jewel was pried out of it, so there are some bends in the shiny metal ring. The threads are worn on one of the clamping screws. It is a Casco brand. The logo and some patent numbers are inside the base that faces the lighter element. I believe the plastic is Bakelite. It looks brown, but in the right light you can see flecks of dark red and dark green. I think this may also by a "Cat's Eye" type lighter. This is made to clamp onto the bottom of the dash. It looks like the dash will need a slot for the wire to travel through. Take a look at all the pictures. Then buy it! Thanks!
